I am Rachel Jackson, and I love Jesus, taking photographs, and creating opportunities for people to experience how beautiful life really is. Weddings are my passion! It is this once-in-a-lifetime occasion that brings out all the highlights of life – the love, the joys, the tears, the intimacy, the crowd, the hopes and dreams of a romance and love between two incredible people that make life a meaningful journey to be shared with each other and those we love most.

My family & I have recently relocated to a sweet small town in Northwest Georgia where everybody seems to know everybody from somewhere. We are a homeschooling family that loves to hang out together and learn all kinds of fun and interesting tidbits of information. We have been getting to know the rolling hills and sweeping views and meeting new people. 

I love to laugh with my kids, get things done, and serve the ones I love. I’ll settle in for a good movie, an old quilt, and just about anything sweet. I love to read books that impart a wisdom that can’t be mass-produced and share it. I love all things pink, flowers for days, and the 1940s & -50s. I love to teach my kids what they need to know to live abundant lives, and to share in their joys and sorrows (even when they are fighting like cats and dogs). I love taking care of people because I genuinely care, even to a fault. I’m a little bossy (my parents are saying, “Ha! A little?!”), I generally know what I want, and I’m not afraid to step up when the need arises. I have a good eye, and don’t miss much. I can pick up a tune and sing it or hum it in a matter of minutes. (I get songs stuck in my head all the time.) I can be patient if I have to, but I like to get things done! I can tell you what I think, but I can bite my tongue if I think that’s the right thing to do…And I really value doing the right thing. I really, really value doing the right thing, and I can’t wait to work with you!
